To celebrate the opening of Swatch’s new store in Covent Garden we created a fun, floral spectacle outside the store in July.

A swing bench covered in florals and faux watches was available for selfies and by posting on instagram consumers were entered into to a competition to win one of 193 exclusive Covent Garden themed Swatch watches (193 is the number of steps in Covent Gardens underground station!).

As a reward for posting their selfies, consumers were directed into store to receive a bespoke Swatch themed doughnut courtesy of a partnership with local business Doughnut Time.

A ‘Hello Covent Garden’ sign mirroring the Piazza’s Hello London sign sat outside the store whilst Rollagirls performed around the area to disco tunes for all to see. Consumers were also handed Swatch themed keyrings and merchandise as fun giveaways.

Footfall to store was increased and opening sales were uplifted due to consumers being directed into store.

Covid-19 rules were adhered to with social distancing and mask wearing.
